Almighty and everlasting God, who dost govern all things in heaven and on earth: Mercifully hear our prayers and grant to this Diocese all things needful for its spiritual welfare: ministers to labour in this portion of Thy vineyard, churches complete in the beauty of holiness. Strengthen and confirm the faithful; protect and guide the children; visit and relieve the sick; turn and soften the wicked; arouse the careless; recover the fallen; restore the penitent. Remove all hindrances to the advancement of Thy truth; and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within the fold of Thy holy Church to the honour and glory of Thy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. R. That he will send forth labourers into His harvest.
O Almighty God, look mercifully upon the world which Thou hast redeemed by the Blood of Thy dear Son, and incline the hearts of many men to offer themselves for the sacred Ministry of Thy Church; so that by their labours Thy light may shine in the darkness, and the coming of Thy kingdom may be hastened by the perfecting of Thine elect; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
